" Ladies Night "
This spring & summer we will be doing ladies night at Bauhr Ranch Horsemanship, La Grange, CA. It's a fun two-hour horsemanship class for the Ladies. Ladies Night Out will be 6:30pm-8:30pm on the following dates:
- June 17th
- July 1st & 15th
- August 12th & 26th
- September 9th & 30th
On those dates we'll send out an email the week before.
These dates are subject to change so please check back regularly

| Sat., Feb. 26: | "Developing your young horse Workshop" A great chance to start laying a solid foundation on your young horse. From ages 1 yr. to 6 yrs. old. It's a fun day of ground work, sensory training & preparing for a rider. The afternoon will be spent riding the horses already started. Cost is $95 for the day, 10am-4pm. | Sun., April 3: | "Play Day at the Ranch" OPRC will be at the ranch for a play day on our 5-acre trail course. Location: Bauhr Ranch Horsemanship, La Grange, CA |
| Sat., Apr. 16th: | "Taking the Spook Out Clinic" Due to the heavy rains we have been experiencing, we've moved "Taking the Spook Out Clinic" to April. A fun day of sensory training, both in the arena and out on our 5-acre trail course. Cost is $95 for the day, 10am-4pm Location: Bauhr Ranch Horsemanship, La Grange, CA |
| May 28-30: | "Colt Starting Workshop" This will be a great chance to get your young horse started. We'll only take 5 Colts in this workshop so we'll have plenty of time with everyone. Cost is $475. | June 10-12: | "Western States Horse Expo" We'll be riding Pearl, an awesome Arabian Mare in the Arabian Breed demo each day. Sacramento, CA |
| Sat., July 9th : | "Horsemanship Challenge" Designed to show what your horse can do in the arena and on the trail. There will be arena testing in the am and a trail trials in the afternoon. Cost is $50 Starts at 9am. Location: Bauhr Ranch in La Grange |
| Sat., Aug. 5th-7th: | "Mountain Trail Riding Workshop" A fun 3 day workshop held at Bear Creek Cabin Ranch in the mountains behind Twain Harte CA. Cost is $450 for the 3 days. For more info contact us. Location: Bear Creek Cabin Ranch, CA |

The colt staring workshop will be a great chance for folks who want to be more involved in starting their own colts. There will be only 5 colts excepted so we will have the plenty of time to spend with each horse. The horse you bring can be un ridden or may already have some rides on it but just green. We will give you the understanding of how to start a horse under saddle building a great foundation, and how to move on with them when you leave. Cost is $400.00 for the workshop, all 4 days. Includes lunch each day for the riders, includes overnight stalls and feeding for the colts, all five days. If you are coming from some distance we have some provisions to stay here in your rig, also have places to stay close by.
